Mens Irish Shirt, Kilt and Drape This Shirt style dates back to 1500-1600's and was commonly worn in the Celtic regions. It is also known as an Irish Leine. This shirt is made from a cotton gauze which is lightweight for long days at the Faires and is also machine washable. The sleeves once used as pockets to hold things are very long on this design. This shirt is available in many fabrics and colors to suit what you want so please write for details. The Kilt  uses over 5 yards of material and has sewn in pleats (originally they laid out the material on the floor and made the pleats and then tied the kilt to their waist, in fact many still to do, but this is so much easier) along with 2 fasteners and fringed trim on 3 edges.
